The 14th Annual $tock Our $helves Walk was held this year on Saturday, October 3, 2009 from the Monsignor Hackett Hall at Immaculate Conception Church, East Weymouth. In spite of off weather that varied from showers to drizzle to heavy rain, the spirit of more than 100 walkers was not in the least dampened.

The walk was a fairly easy 2 mile stroll along Broad Street to Middle Street, past Legion Field and back to the Food Pantry. This short walk was ideal for people of all ages. Walking groups, school teams, and other organizations. Many made it a family outing with moms, dads, kids and grandparents joining the festivities.
