Food Drives are a fun, hands-on way to help your neighbors in need. Much of the food we distribute throughout the community is collected in food drives. The Letter Carriers' "Stamp Out Hunger" Drive each May makes a significant contribution to our stocks as do the monthly "Adopt-A-School" program of the Weymouth Public Schools. Along with the Weymouth Rotary Club's annual one-day drive, and the numerous on-going drives by churches, schools, banks and civic organizations, we receive literally "Tons of Food". Your participation would make a direct and positive impact on the hungry of Weymouth.

Food Drives can be as simple or complex as you wish them to be. If you do plan to conduct a food drive, please contact us in advance so we can plan accordingly; dates and times, wheteher you will be delivering the food to us or if it will be picked up from your location. Our Food Drive Kit offers many helpful tips and tools available for you to make your drive as successful as possible.

We encourage you to conduct a food drive in your neighborhood or at your place of business, school, scout group, civic organization or house of worship.

In addition to the information in the Food Drive Kit, we can also provide you with pre-addressed envelopes that can be used by donors should they choose to make a monetary donation.
