An annual community karaoke event, the South Shore Showcase isn't just great fun for all ages, but an extraordinary fundraiser for local nonprofits– including the Weymouth Food Pantry. Your $20 entry fee gets you hours of entertainment as well as a buffet lunch. Sign up in advance to sing or just come to watch and even dance!
The #neighborlove project is an invitation to engage our neighbors with kindness in order to get to know them better because: how can we know a neighbor needs our help if we don't know them in the first place? Leading up to Valentine's Day, we'll offer daily inspirations for cultivating more kindness and connection on your block. Check our Facebook page for the posts. For those who have signed up by 2pm on Friday, December 16, you can pick up a holiday meal for your family that includes a ham, loads of fixings (stuffing, cranberry sauce, etc.), fresh vegetables (potatoes, carrots, onions, garlic, butternut squash), and a couple of sweet treats such as cupcakes or cookies from Cupcake Mojo. This distribution will happen RAIN OR SHINE. We'll have cabs available to take those who have come on foot home. See you there!

Brady Enterprises is reviving a 40-year tradition of hosting the Brady Memorial Golf Tournament on Friday, September 9, 2016. We are also excited to announce that this special event will now be a fundraiser in support of 2 local and worthy charities: Weymouth Food Pantry and Good Sports. We hope you will join us for what is sure to be a memorable day as we give back to the community and enjoy some quality time with good friends and colleagues. We invite all families who use the Food Pantry to come to the Farmer's Market at Legion Field where we will double your money (up to $20 per day) toward the purchase of fresh fruits and vegetables as well as dairy, meat, and honey. The program will run through October 15 and the grand opening day at the Market will have live music, a petting zoo, a fitness demonstration and more.
Come to one of our build-your-own-container-garden workshops and we'll set you up with all the information and supplies you need to grow tomatoes at home this summer for FREE using a bucket.

Old South Union Church of South Weymouth proudly hosts a new pop-up pantry site on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month beginning March 19. This is the Food Pantry's first pop-up pantry taking place on a weekend as well as the first in South Weymouth. All Weymouth residents in need food assistance are welcome.

Shop local this season at SouthField's Winter Farmers Market and help us with our very first Fresh Food Drive! Pick up groceries for yourself and toss a few extra items in your basket for the Food Pantry. Market begins Saturday, February 6th from 11-2 and runs every Saturday through March 19th. Market will be held indooors at SouthField's gymnasium, located at 495 Shea Memorial Drive.
Dine at Boathouse Bistro in Hingham on Veteran's Day and 10% of the proceeds will go to the Weymouth Food Pantry. Owned by a Weymouth resident and located in the Hingham Shipyard, the menu varies from Italian dishes, to oven-baked pizzas, to mouth-watering steaks. Dine for a cause and the proceeds will help the Food Pantry provide 1,100 holiday meals to local families in need.
Stop on by Shaw's to do your grocery shopping and throw something extra in for your neighbors in need. Weymouth Rotary will be there to accept your donations.
Let's exercise for a cause-- ending hunger in Weymouth! The whole family's welcome at the FRESH BITE 5K Run/Walk this year at 8:30am on June 20 at DCR Wompatuck State Park.
